Subject: Thank You for the Coffee

To the staff, customers, family and management of Boca Java. The Guardsmen of the 455 EAMXS deployed, C-130 AMU, wish to thank the employees of Boca Java Gourmet Coffee for their generous donation of the large box of gourmet coffee and grinder which arrived in Afghanistan in November. Our deployed Guardsmen are your citizen soldiers from Anchorage Alaska, Savannah Georgia, Mansfield Ohio and St. Joseph Missouri. Many of our airmen on this rotation have been away from their families during Thanksgiving and some will be away from loved ones during Christmas and New Years. The mission here is fast paced and our airmen work hard, sometimes with little or no down time in order to meet deadlines. Your thoughtfulness was certainly appreciated as our coffee supply is always in short supply and has to be re-supplied as our aircraft rotate into the country about every 35 days. Thank you so much for thinking about your deployed friends, relatives and neighbors during this holiday season. We have attached our group photo as our way of saying thank you.
