Happy Holidays and Thanks for Supporting Us!

Fellow American:

Recently, my Army Reserve unit received a package of coffee, hot cocoa,
and a coffee grinder from Boca Java Coffee. On behalf of my Soldiers,
THANK YOU for your support! I've attached a photo that we took recently
to show you exactly who you are supporting.

My unit is just past the halfway mark of our 12-month deployment to Camp
Bucca. This is a difficult base to work at as a Solider - our base is
home to the largest detention facility in Iraq, and we deal with Al
Qaeda, Takfiri, and other variations of insurgents and terrorists on a
daily basis.

Our mission, combined with the cold weather of winter (it's now in the
30s here at night) and the holidays away from home, can make for a
morale killing environment. Your support helps combat that - and more
importantly, will help keep those Soldiers working outside at night a
little warmer.
